Jonathan Hackner
Hi, my name is Jon. I am a designer, artist, and writer based in Los Angeles, CA. Currently, I am a student at Santa Monica College pursuing an Associates of Arts Degree in Graphic Design with a transfer Major in Architecture and Comparative Literature.
I specialize in illustration, product development, and research. I like to incorporate my fine arts background through my design process. Growing up making photography, ceramics, comics, sculpture, painting, drawing, and enjoying myself through artistic mediums has informed my design process. Extracurriculars, such as creative writing, scientific research, and leadership experience, has helped me to grow as an artist, writer and individual. Using my Argentine & South African heritage, I use artistic knowledge to design functional and beautiful products such as websites, posters, and covers. My goal is to work with clients directly and collaboratively, so I can focus my design research process on creating the best work for you.
